Hi, I’m Ulysses.
I am a recent M.Arch Graduate from UIC SOA and current assistant designer at BauTeam Chicago. I am actively looking for an architectural designer position at a community-driven architecture firm with the focus on creating spaces for the community.
I am an eager, adaptable and passionate individual committed to utilizing architecture, design and interpersonal connections to create a better life for others. Employing a highly ambitious and reliable background to do the utmost in every project. Focused on designing community oriented projects that are also economically accessible.
About me
I believe that every individual deserves the basic necessities for survival;
Protection from the elements: Shelter.
Bodily function: Food and Water
Protecting the body from elements: Clothing.
If we can provide shelters for those in need and allow for one of the basic necessities to be met, those individuals will have a stable and secure environment and have better access to food, water and hygiene.
A living space is a basic human necessity that everyone deserves, and shouldn't be a privilege.
I aspire to create affordable housing for those in need, that is my mission.
